​We are currently only visiting small pets including cats, lizards, ferrets and fish.
Sorry we don't do any kind of boarding, overnights or grooming. Due to unpredictable Winter weather visits are between 9:00 am to 4:00pm.

I really do love all Animals! I enjoy hanging out with cats, entertaining ferrets, playing with dogs, hugging sloths and being surrounded by nature. I have references from my awesome clients here in Hendersonville. 

 I  worked for Frogs To Dogs a top rated pet sitting company in Atlanta and I had the most amazing clients who I really miss. 
​ I am vegan and I love all animals!  I have such interesting clients here in the mountains.  I have taken care of miniature horses, goats, chickens, a gecko, mini roosters, parrots that curse and lot's of wonderful dogs and cats.

All visits include feeding, scooping the litter boxes, taking garbage/litter to the curb on garbage days. 
We will also bring in the mail & packages left outside and water your plants.

​9/26/2016 Finding a pet sitter when you move can be a bit stressful.  I found Amy by doing my research and using intuition.  We've used Amy now for daily home visits for our cat Lily for two vacations.  One vacation was 3 weeks in length.  The other was 12 days. We plan to use her services again with confidence.  Highly recommended.  Amy takes great care of Lily and is detail oriented for other home sitting matters.    We also really appreciate the regular email reports.  I would recommend Amy without hesitation.  Lily seems to fancy her, too  ;)

VJay and Covi: Amy from Mindful Pet Sitting has been a blessing to me and my trusty hound dog mix Covington for nearly 5 years. Amy has walked Covey 2-3 days a wk for years while also dog sitting for him, providing him yummy treats and cooling him down when the summer heat becomes too much. Her cool and calm demeanor coupled with her passion for animals and her sensitivity has helped Covey and I get through achy hips/joints and a surgery or 2. Amy always stays in touch and lets me know how my pup is faring during their visits. I never have to worry about mess making in the house or whether or not my pup is being tended to. I come home from work and Covey is happy and rested. It is not just my dog either (or even Amy's or her other clients) that are cared for by MindfulPetSitting. Her work in the past with film making and inmate rehab transcended normal service as Amy helped to pair rescue pups with in need individuals who also could use friendship as part of their recovery. I think this shows a trusting and caring heart and indeed one which Covey and I will miss back home in Atlanta. To echo another review here on Yelp-the Hendersonville NC area is super lucky to have such a thoughtful and responsible new pet business in the community. Cannot wait to have Amy, Mindful PetSitting and Covington reunite!  My dear sweet friend Covington passed away in October. He was such a gentle and loving Dog!

Sandra B: I will always be thankful to Amy for all the kindness, love and compassion she showed while taking care of my pets. I met Amy when my senior dog Killa was very sick. We did not know whether she would make it. Amy took care of her and Evangie very lovingly. She made sure that my dogs always had treats after a walk, and to text me for my peace of mind. She even welcomed my cat Ku to the pack and made sure he did not run away. Amy also helped my mother once settle the bill with the handyman, as my mother does not speak English.
